Who shall know what is, but he who seeks it?
Who shall know the answer to a question but he who asks it?
Knowledge is power, they say... but even more, knowledge is knowledge.

Wlita or wlyta leaves
Wlita leaves. The Wlita leaf is a very green leaf, only found growing
in cemeteries, above the graves of previously Undead who have been put
completely to rest in any of the approved ways. It is believed that the
Wlita leaf has a specific property which makes it highly prized by some
Undead - depending upon the method of re-animation. It is also said that
even the Living can become addicted to Wlita leaves. Rusalki love the
leaves. It is said that the leaves assist the Rusalki who walk among men
without needing to remain within the Lakes of their death. Mummies will
eat the Wlita leaves in the belief that it prevents further decay.
Rusalki who have left their Lakes do experience quite a strong discoloration
of the tongue.
Living beings who become addicted to Wlita leaves suffer two effects over
time: both an increased sensitivity to spiritual manifestations, and increasing
occurrences of delusions, hysteria, and so on. The addiction is very dangerous,
and doctors advise against taking the leaves for anyone who is not Undead.
